Blossom Blast Saga is the latest puzzle game from King. King has built a name for themselves for taking basic puzzle premises, polishing them up nicely, and providing them with the aesthetic resources and continuing development support they really need to shine. While the linking gameplay of Blossom Blast Saga isn't that much different from a number of other match three style games on the market, Blossom Blast Saga makes up for it with style and a focus on making subtle wrinkles to the popular match three structure.

Part of this comes down to the fact that Blossom Blast Saga doesn't take place on neatly structured x and y axes. Instead, the flowers on the board overlap with one another, creating more complicated manners in which the player can create flower links. This small change fundamentally changes the gameplay dynamics and forces players to think more creatively.

As usual, King Games has loaded the game up with plenty of things to do. Over 600 levels are available, with more being added on a semi-regular basis. Blossom Blast Saga offers three game modes that provide you with objectives like linking colors in a certain sequence, reaching score benchmarks, removing weeds, and creating the largest flower possible.
